Liam Moore

After appearing on Stars in Their Eyes as Phil Collins, fulfilling his life long ambition singing in front of Phil and being personally endorsed by him as his number one tribute in the world, you would think that all would be well with Liam. However, following the death of his mum, the break up with his fiancé and being heavily addicted to cocaine, on the 8th January 1998 Liam decided to take his own life by driving into the back of a truck in Oxford. Suddenly, he heard a voice saying, ‘Liam, call your friend.’ He did and his friend told him about a Saviour who loved him and died for him. The rest, as they say, is history, just like Liam's past. He gave his life to Jesus, became a Christian and his life began to turn around.

There is power in worship and as one of the visionaries of Worship in the City, Liam feels very humbled and privileged to be part of this project. It is the fulfilment of many prophetic words spoken of a new song and a new sound coming from this city.

Pauline Walters

I wrote “Everything is Worthwhile” after discovering that my Lord and Saviour was allowing me to go through some really heart breaking family experiences to bring me close to Him. Although blessed with a rich country music background (Hank Walters and the Arcadian Ladies family band), it was through worship at the Temple of Praise that I discovered my true calling in ministry. I am forever grateful to God and those who have supported me.

My prayer is that this compilation album will inspire many to give their hearts to Jesus. I personally can’t imagine life without Jesus and am so glad I took the chance on Him because He has turned me around for the best!

Peter Hawley

Peter Hawley is the music minister at Liverpool Lighthouse, Anfield, and part of the Love Joy Gospel Choir. Known thoughout the region as a worship leader, Pete can be found leading worship at all types of event. He has just released an independent album 'I Will Never Forget'.

I'm really excited about the album, and glad that it can be showcased as a part of the Worship in the City Project!

Shane Beales

Shane Beales is a musician based at Frontline Church, Liverpool. He moved up to Liverpool from Colchester, Essex in 2002 to study a music degree at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. In his 3rd year, Shane specialised in songwriting and produced an album of songs written to encourage and stir God's people to have an outword focussed, mission mentality. Having graduated in 2005, Shane has remained in Liverpool, recently getting married and working as a musician in the city. Shane leads worship at Frontline church and is excited to see how God is stiring people to write daring songs of abandoned worship that are able to make an impact beyond the four walls of church buildings and Sunday services. He is a passionate person with a real heart for authenticity in worship. He is very pleased to be a part of the Worship in the City Project.

Soulstream

Soulstream started out in 2006 with our own worship events in West Derby, playing a wide range of worship material, and developing our own songs too. Since then, we have been invited to play at major Christian conferences and events across Merseyside, bringing our unique, harmony-laden worship music with us. Soulstream is very much part of our service to God and His people - it's our ministry, and we are not there to perform, we are there to provide a platform upon which worshippers can build their offerings of worship to God - meeting with Him and responding to Him. We pray that our contribution to this project may in some way bring its listeners closer to God.
